Abstract: Polyglot Asian Medicine seeks to deliver reliable, clinically relevant data about traditional medicine to biomedical and traditional clinicians in clinic-time speed, as well as to the general public. Drawing on proven strengths linking across traditional texts and modern scientific knowledge systems, we target query systems for traditional drug efficacy and safety, drug-herb interaction, and suggestions for historically attested remedies used by the great masters. Working with the WHO, these will enhance clinicians ability to respond to patients’ well-known but little-studied practice of polypharmacy, that is, seeking treatment across a range of medical traditions.
