Sunil Sharma

Sunil Sharma is Professor of Persianate & Comparative Literature at Boston University. He is the author of several books on and translations of premodern Persian poetry and Persianate literary cultures. His last book was Mughal Arcadia: Persian Poetry in an Indian Court (Harvard UP, 2017), while Three Centuries of Muslim Women’s Travel Writing (Indiana UP, 2022; co-authored with Siobhan Lambert-Hurley and Daniel Majchrowicz) is forthcoming.He is also interested in codicology, narrative tales, and anthologies of women poets.
